Profile

Stephanie was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2014 and joined John Toohey Chambers in 2025.

Stephanie has practiced almost exclusively in the area of family law (including family violence restraining orders) since her admittance. Prior to joining the Bar, Stephanie worked for two boutique firms (one national and one multi-disciplinary), leading and developing award-winning family law departments.

Stephanie is a passionate advocate who takes a thorough, yet practical approach to family law matters. She has experience in all areas of the jurisdiction, inclusive of children's matters (including "grandparent" matters), property matters (including those involving large and complex asset pools, as well as deceased estates), adoptions and urgent applications. Additionally, Stephanie has significant experience in representing parties in family dispute resolution mediation and arbitration, and is a collaboratively trained practitioner.

Stephanie is available to take brief for advice, appearances of all nature in the Court, mediations (either as counsel or FDRP Chair), arbitration and as representative or counsel for Legally Aided Independent Children's Lawyer matters.

Stephanie is also a member of staff at the College of Law (WA) and has a keen interest in academia.
