After completing articles and most of restricted practice year with McCusker & Harmer, worked with Mony De Kerloy from October 1992 to October 1995 principally engaged in commercial litigation including appearances as counsel in chambers & appeal matters.

From October 1995 to August 1999 Peter practiced as a member of the WA Bar Association engaged principally in providing advice and Chambers and Appellate advocacy in the areas of Commercial litigation, Equity, Trusts, Insolvency, Bankruptcy and Administrative matters.

From November 1999 to June 2002 Peter practiced as member of Victorian Bar at Owen Dixon Chambers Melbourne in the areas of practice listed before resuming his practice at Western Australian Bar.

Peter joined John Toohey Chambers in February 2003.
