On 5 November 2025, a founding member of John Toohey Chambers, Michael Rynne was appointed Senior Counsel. Mr Rynne’s appointment demonstrates the strength of these Chambers members commitment to the Family Law jurisdiction. In a jurisdiction where Counsel are required to deal with the emergence of societal trends pointing to a rebalancing of personal interactions between those in relationships and their children , the challenges confronting legal representatives of those in distress highlight the need for effective advocacy.
