From 1978 to June 2005, Marco practiced as a Solicitor and member of the firm of Messrs Taylor Smart, Perth becoming became a Partner of the firm in 1984

Marco has considerable trial and appellate experience in a wide range of commercial and civil matters including workers compensation, employer's liabilities, motor vehicle accident, asbestos claims, product and public liability and criminal and family law matters.

Marco served as a member of the Personal Injuries Committee at the Law Society of Western Australia from 1992 to 1995 and a member of the Council of the Law Society of Western Australia from 1996 to 1998.

Marco has been a supporter of the Asbestos Diseases Society of Western Australia Inc. since the early 1980s and has extensive experience in asbestos related litigation on behalf of Plaintiffs including expedited trials and appeals.

Marco joined John Toohey Chambers in September 2005 and is available to accept briefs for opinion work, advice, trial and Appellant advocacy in personal injuries, civil and commercial litigation, criminal, insurance and family law matters.
